Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BigRoad website and mobile app at bigroad.app, operated by MPT OF NY, LLC (“BigRoad”, “we”, “us”). By using BigRoad you agree to these Terms.

What BigRoad is

BigRoad provides truck-oriented mapping, routing suggestions, overlays, and navigation aids. It is a driver assistance tool — not a substitute for posted signs, CDL judgment, carrier policy, or official ELD / HOS recordkeeping.

Accounts and subscriptions

Some features may require an account (for example Sign in with Apple or email).
Paid plans and free trials, when offered, are described in the app and at checkout.
If you subscribe through the Apple App Store, Apple’s payment terms also apply.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Acceptable use

Use BigRoad only for lawful driving and logistics purposes.
Do not attempt to abuse, scrape, or overload our servers or third-party map providers.
Do not submit false clearance, weigh-station, or hazard reports.

Routing and safety disclaimer

Routes, clearances, restrictions, weigh-station status, and overlays can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always obey road signs, bridge postings, permits, and your company’s rules. You remain responsible for the safe and legal operation of your vehicle.

HOS / ELD

BigRoad is not an electronic logging device and does not create or edit official FMCSA driver logs. Any duty-status suggestions are optional prompts that you confirm.

Intellectual property

BigRoad’s branding, software, and content are owned by MPT OF NY, LLC or its licensors. Map and routing data may be provided by third parties (including HERE and OpenStreetMap-related sources) under their respective terms.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

BigRoad is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent allowed, MPT OF NY, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or routing-related damages arising from your use of the service, including fines, delays, or property damage. Our total liability for any claim relating to BigRoad is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for BigRoad in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50).

Changes

We may update these Terms or the service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The effective date above will change when we publish a revision.
